Notes from the Crawl

Ten villains; six hosts. With O'Reilly vs. Cooper and Olbermann vs. Russert in the Sweet Sixteen, the villains may be increasing their edge even further in the Elite Eight ... your votes will decide!

Speaking of Anderson Cooper, he's made it through the first two rounds by an average of 0.75%. Is he saving up his mojo for top-seeded O'Reilly, or will he be cancelled in Round Three?

The tournament lost a Riddler and TWO Mr. Freezes last week, but still boasts all three Catwomen. Will the Joker use the same game plan he iced George Sanders' Mr. Freeze with last week on Otto Preminger's this week? After Lee Meriweather's cat nipped top-seeded Chris Matthews this week, could we be looking at an all-feline final? Meow!

The matchup between Brit Hume and Tim Russert was held up for ten minutes when it was discovered that Tony Snow had actually been sitting in for Brit on occasion. No one noticed until late in the second half. A spokesman for FOX News said, "It's an easy mistake to make; they're made up of the same model motherboard and a lot of the same circuitry ... I mean ... they share a lot of characteristics. Human characteristics. Totally human characteristics. But Tony's shinier."

Overheard on the Batphone

Otto was such a bore. I wish my brother George was here ... or maybe that Shepard Smith. Rarrr! -- Liberace

I feel bad for Larry. I'm going to give him one of my dresses to wear for the next time he kisses Brando. -- Milton Berle

I was surprised to see Malachi Throne today ... for some reason, I was expecting Michael Jackson. -- King Tut
