Notes from the Week

Nine teams from the 2001 and 2002 tournaments competed in Round Two; only "I know nothing!" remains from that group. That means the 2001 GoBoilers.com Tournament of Lost Treasures from 1970's AM Radio is the first tournament to close its eyes and climb aboard the Dream Weaver Train. The 2004 GoBoilers.com Tournament of Childhood Toys and Games is still leading the field with four teams in the Sweet Sixteen.

In the strangest game of the week, Nacho Cheese had little problem with Cat's in the Cradle after CITC brought only four players to the court. "I can't really explain it," CITC said. "One of our players called just before the game and said he was too busy to play. He did say he try for next time, though."

Bacon was again responsible for the biggest beatdown; the Joker again won the closest game. Will Bacon keep that sizzle? Will the joke ever be on Cesar? Your votes decide!

The Quotable

Our coaching staff designed a really intricate plan for us to be successful ... but in the end, we just couldn't put all the pieces together. -- Mousetrap

     Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. -- Electric Football

We hung tight there for a while, but just couldn't stick it out. -- Post-Its
